Chase Area: Eastern Nebraska
We observed a supercell near Columbus, Nebraska, which produced a neat converging dust thing (technical term).


Elevated Supercell
View is looking south-southeast at an area of enhanced upward motion and modest rotation aloft, with dust converging underneath. This was reported as a tornado but we have no indication it was anything more then strong winds associated with a mesocyclone. The last image shows the elevated rotating base.
